Move in/out Cleaning Service Checklist

• General Areas:

  • Dust all surfaces, including baseboards, window sills, door frames, and ledges.

  • Vacuum carpets and rugs (or prepare for professional cleaning, if required).

  • Sweep and mop hard floors, including corners and under fixtures.

  • Clean and disinfect all trash bins (inside and out).

  • Dust and clean ceiling fans, light fixtures, and vents (all reachable areas).

  • Wash interior windows and tracks (may exclude exterior, extra fee).

  • Clean walls for smudges, scuffs, and marks (spot-clean or full wash, depending on provider).

  • Clean inside closets, shelves, and drawers.

• Kitchen:

  • Deep clean countertops, backsplash, and grout (remove all buildup).

  • Scrub and disinfect sink and faucet.

  • Clean inside and outside of all appliances (oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher).

  • Clean inside and outside of all cabinets and drawers.

  • Remove grease from stove hood and filters.

  • Sweep and mop floor, including under appliances (if movable).

• Bathrooms:

  • Deep clean and disinfect toilet (bowl, base, tank, behind).

  • Scrub sink, countertop, faucet, and drain (remove limescale).

  • Clean and polish mirrors and glass.

  • Scrub shower/tub, tiles, grout, and glass doors (remove all soap scum).

  • Clean inside and outside of cabinets and drawers.

  • Sweep and mop floor, including behind toilet and under fixtures.

• Bedrooms:

  • Dust all surfaces, including baseboards, sills, and frames.

  • Clean inside closets, shelves, and drawers.

  • Vacuum carpets or sweep/mop hard floors (including corners).

  • Clean interior windows and tracks.

• Living Areas:

  • Dust all surfaces, including built-in shelves and fireplaces.

  • Clean inside closets and storage areas.

  • Vacuum or mop floors, including under built-in furniture.

  • Clean interior windows and tracks.

• Exclusions:

  • No exterior window cleaning (unless requested, extra fee).

  • No carpet shampooing or wall painting (specialty services).

  • No heavy repairs (e.g., mold remediation, broken fixtures).

  • No personal item cleaning (assumes home is empty).
